  Jaipur is the largest city and the capital of the state of Rajasthan in India. Also called the Pink City, the city is still known among premodern Indian cities for the regularity and width of its streets, which are divided into 6 sectors. These are separated by a wide road about 34 meters wide. Today it is growing rapidly and private companies as well as the government are carrying out a variety of development projects.   Tourist attractions in Jaipur   ·          Hawa Mahal   This palace was designed by Lal Chand Usta in 1799 and built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the shape of the crown of the Hindu god. The 5-story palace is made of pink and red sandstones with a touch of white lime. The side of the building along the street has about a thousand small windows. It is a land of natural beauty and great history.
